Terms of Service
Last updated: April 25, 2026These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply when you create an account or otherwise use webgame.cloud (the "Service"). Please read them carefully — they govern your rights and obligations as a user, and ours as the operator.1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. If you're using webgame.cloud on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. What the Service does
webgame.cloud is a web-based console for HTML5 game developers. It lets you upload and organize assets (images, audio, JSON, shaders, fonts, dialogues, localizations), generate optimized bundles for engines like Phaser and PixiJS, author schema-driven live configs, manage build tags and lifecycle, and collaborate with teammates across five role types. The Service is currently in alpha, and some features may change, be added, or be removed.
3. Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. You can sign in with Discord, GitHub, or Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscription plans & billing
The Service is offered on a Free tier (Indie) and paid monthly subscriptions (Indie+ and Studio). Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. All fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Taxes may be added based on your billing address. We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice — changes take effect at your next billing cycle. Storage above your plan's allowance is billed at the rate shown in the console.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) upload content you don't own or have permission to use; (b) upload malware, exploits, or material that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to minors; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape beyond reasonable limits, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' projects; (d) circumvent storage, project, or rate limits; or (e) use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Your content
You retain all ownership rights to the assets, configs, schemas, dialogues, fonts, localizations, and other materials you upload (collectively, "Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, and display Your Content strictly to operate the Service for you and the collaborators you've invited. We will not sell Your Content, and we will not use it to train machine-learning models.
7. Our intellectual property
The webgame.cloud name, console interface, source code, designs, and brand assets are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended, and nothing more. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Service availability & changes
While we work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability — especially during alpha. We may add, modify, or remove features, change limits, or perform maintenance at any time. For material changes that affect paying customers, we'll provide at least 14 days' advance notice by email or in-console.
9. Termination & suspension
You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from the console. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, our users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, and we will delete or anonymize your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defect will be corrected.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which webgame.cloud is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence specifies otherwise. Please email [email protected] first — we'd much rather sort things out directly.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll let you know by email or in-console at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
